Our number four and number three spots could’ve been a tossup, as both quarterbacks put up very good numbers against their conference  opponents. This week Minshew will slide just a tad even though his team had a better overall performance.

In the Cougars victory over Arizona, Minshew carved up the Wildcats secondary to the tune of 43 for 55 with 473 passing yards and seven touchdowns! Arizona had no answer for him, as he had all the time in the world to play pitch and catch with his receivers as Washington State cruised to another Pac-12 victory.

Minshew is averaging 393 yards and 3 touchdowns per game this season and is on pace to finish the year with 5,504 passing yards 45 touchdowns.

He has been one of the best performers in Mike Leach’s pass happy offense and an excellent game next week in the Apple Cup could have him jump into the top three and maybe even put him at number two of the race.
