It was a very scary first half for the Crimson Tide, as they went into the break tied with the Citadel at 10 a piece. Everyone thinking that Alabama was going to sleepwalk before the Iron Bowl against Auburn was spot on for 30 minutes.

It was until the third quarter that Alabama started to get their act together. This is the best thing that could’ve happened to Alabama, as Nick Saban now knows that his team will understand they can get beat on any given Saturday if they don’t put up the maximum effort.

Tua started the game with a rough first half but finished the day with three touchdown passes and 340 yards through the year. Auburn’s secondary is giving up 208 passing yards per game, and with their offense playing inconsistently you could expect the Alabama defense to force a bunch of turnovers.

Tagovailoa should have another great performance and wrap up the Heisman Trophy as Alabama picks up a statement victory heading into Championship weekend.
