The Demon Deacons couldn’t slow down Pittsburgh’s improving offense, losing 34-13 on Saturday. The bright spot for the offense was Cade Carney had a few good runs, finishing with 62 yards rushing on 16 carries. They will look to become bowl eligible against the Blue Devils this weekend.

The most surprising victory in the conference was Florida State’s late win over Boston College. The Seminoles have been inconsistent all season, but the offense made enough plays to squeeze out the victory over the Eagles. Deondre Francois threw for over 300 yards and had a touchdown pass, and the rivalry game against Florida will be even more important as both teams look to secure bowl bids.

The Hurricanes defense stepped against Virginia Tech. Forcing quarterback Ryan Willis to throw two interceptions and sacking him four times. Although the passing game didn’t do much from a yards standpoint, N’Kosi Perry threw two touchdown passes. With 24th ranked Pittsburgh coming to town this weekend the Canes will look to get their seventh win of the season.
