Ryan Finley continues to play like one of the best quarterbacks in the ACC, shredding the Louisville defense for 316 yards and four touchdown passes. The one sore spot in the 52-10 victory was the poor run defense by the Wolfpack. The Cardinals racked up 258 yards and a 6.7 yards per carry performance in the loss. The rivalry game against North Carolina is this weekend and it should be an easy win for NC State.

Once Eric Dungey was injured against the Fighting Irish, it was all downhill from there. Tommy Devito was outmatched against a talented Notre Dame defense, as he threw two interceptions and only 105 yards. Moe Neal and Dontae Strickland did a good job running the ball, but the Orange defense couldn’t slow down Ian Book, who had two touchdown passes. Slowing down AJ Dillon will be the number one priority as Syracuse looks to pick up win number nine.

The option offense continues to be a problem for Georgia Tech’s ACC opponents, as TaQuon Marshall ran the ball 15 times for 107 yards. The rivalry game against Georgia could have the Bulldogs on upset alert if they can’t slow down the triple option. This game will have a huge impact on the playoff as a loss would certainly derail any hope for Georgia to get in.
