Notre Dame Football: 3 bold predictions vs. USC in Week 13

Notre Dame football has knocked off opponent after opponent on its way to an 11-0 record, but long-time rival USC will be looking to spoil the Irish’s season.

While the results of this rivalry haven’t been particularly close over the past few years, both the Irish and Trojans have gone back in forth in the victory column. Both Notre Dame and USC have two wins over one another since 2014, compiling a point differential of 98 total points over that span.

Outside of last season’s matchup, it seems as if the Irish have caught the Trojans at the worst of times, and vice versa. While both programs finished with only three losses in 2017, USC drew a 4-8 Notre Dame squad in 2016 while the Irish faced off against USC in the midst of the Trojans’ 2015 coaching change. Both teams sputtered to under 10 wins following their 2014 meeting.
