Ole Miss Football: 5 Reasons Rebels will win 2018 Egg Bowl vs Mississippi State
Ole Miss football is a heavy underdog to rival Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl at home on Thursday night but the Rebels have their eyes on an upset.
Rivalry Week is finally here. Some schools can rectify an otherwise “lost” season with a win over their nemesis in the final week of the regular season. Others are looking to put an exclamation point on a triumph campaign by sticking it to a familiar antagonist on their way to bigger and better things.
Ole Miss finds themselves in the first group. Sitting at 5-6 with the postseason already forgone because of a self-imposed recusal, the Rebels are down to their final game. As usual, it comes against the one school they want to beat more than any other: Mississippi State.

Fitzgerald healthy this year, but Ole Miss is still ready to pull off an upset. Here’s why the Rebels win the Egg Bowl in 2018.
