1. There really isn’t a team that can beat Alabama right now

We have finished the regular season. Alabama sits undefeated. Clemson will very likely beat South Carolina to remain undefeated. Notre Dame will likely do the same to USC, in a way that will not be pretty at all. So, when everything is said and done, there will be three undefeated teams sitting atop the College Football Playoff rankings.

However, it is important to note that not all undefeated teams are created equal. That is what I have taken away from this game and, more importantly, this season by Alabama.

There is not a team in College Football right now that can take down Alabama. There is not a team that can take this team on and beat them in every aspect of the game. The Tide has had an answer for every one in every situation.

There have been great Alabama teams in the last few seasons. There have been teams that many have said the exact same thing about. However, this time it is truly different. The only group that can beat Alabama is Alabama. That means that right now, this team can’t get cocky. They can’t get sloppy. They have to play the same way they have all season as they enter the post season.

The Crimson Tide has the ability to make history here as one of the best teams the world has ever seen. The only question that remains is this: will they do it?
