LSU. Greedy Williams. 3. player. 42. . CB

The redshirt sophomore CB has emerged as a lockdown corner for LSU and is the top defensive back prospect in the country. He picked off six passes as a redshirt freshman in 2016, and while he only has two in 2018 so far, that has more to do with quarterbacks looking to the other side of the field to avoid Greedy than anything else.

Richard Sherman has proved to be a good signing for San Francisco, but they could still use another corner on the other side of the field. Williams could learn from Sherman and ultimately take his place as the team’s No. 1 cornerback.

The pending release of linebacker Reuben Foster due to another domestic violence arrest could lead the Niners to look at Williams’ teammate, Devin White, early in the draft to replace the talented but troubled former Alabama All-American.

If not those two, an edge-rusher would also make a ton of sense. No 49er has exceeded 6.5 sacks since the 2013 season.
