7. player. 30. . DE/DT. Michigan. Rashan Gary

Rashan Gary is a versatile defensive line prospect capable of playing on the interior or exterior. Gary’s numbers don’t bear out that he will ever be an elite pass rusher, but I do think the skills exist for him to be strong in that department, although he projects best as a defensive tackle at the next level.

The Jets are hoping to upgrade their pass rush, and just missed out on the Khalil Mack sweepstakes at the beginning of this season. Gary won’t provide Mack-like play, but he is undoubtedly talented, and could be considered the best player available here.

Don’t be surprised to see the Jets look at upgrading their offensive line with Ole Miss tackle Greg Little here either after investing a high pick in Sam Darnold last year.

All of their top receivers are also slated to become free agents this offseason, so they could look at pulling the trigger on a receiver here, although again I don’t see one worth taking in Top 10.
