The Hokies will have to wait and see if they will be able to go bowling this year, due to a canceled game in September, but they showed they can take a team to school in their big victory over Virginia on Friday. Bryce Perkins threw three touchdowns and ran for over 100 yards in the Hokies 34-31 overtime victory.

The Eagle defense couldn’t slow down do it all quarterback Eric Dungey for Syracuse, and Boston College was on the losing end of their final home game 42-21. The Orange defense slowed down AJ Dillon enough to make BC one dimensional, as he finished the game with 12 carries for just 56 yards. Max Richardson was the bright spot on defense as he finished with 13 tackles on the night.

Georgia Tech ran into a buzzsaw in their rival the Georgia Bulldogs this weekend, a team looking to make a statement for their inclusion into the college football playoff. Jake Fromm threw four touchdown passes and the talented Yellow Jackets option was held to 128 yards on 46 carries with one rushing touchdown.
