Texas looked like trash against Kansas and nearly lost, but that’s just what Texas does against bad teams, so I’m not going to glean too much from it. The Longhorns need Sam Elhinger to be better. That’s the only real takeaway. With the win locked up, Texas moves on to the Big 12 championship, a chance to beat Oklahoma again, and ruin their playoff chances in the process. That probably sounds pretty sweet to the Longhorns.

Oklahoma’s 59-56 win over West Virginia was hilarious and wonderful, not only because of the actual gameplay but because of how mad it made everyone that can’t enjoy things. I, for one, am all for abolishing defense and just playing offense like OU and WVU did, and I certainly hope that chaos carries over into the title game.

These last two spots are contingent on the results of the Big 12 Championship this weekend. Oklahoma has a strong case for the College Football Playoff if they win, but they’ve already fallen to Texas once this season.
