The Oklahoma Sooners have had great success recently at the tight end position, sending Mark Andrews to the 2018 NFL Draft and incorporating Grant Calcaterra into the offense this season. With the addition of Austin Stogner, they’ll have plenty of options in 2019, too.

The 6-foot-6 senior from Plano, Texas, has been committed to the Sooners since June of 2017, but has still collected 29 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, and other blue-blood programs. He attends Prestonwood Christian Academy and is considered one of the top tight ends in the country.

Stogner is ranked the No. 63 recruit by 247Sports, No. 44 by ESPN and No. 117 by Rivals. While some recruits take their time deciding where to go, it seems Stogner wanted to be a Sooner for some time, having committed during the summer heading into his junior year.
