9. player. 59. . CB. Georgia Bulldogs. DeAndre Baker

You won’t see a big run of quarterbacks go back to back to back, even though Miami has a need at the position. The AFC East still has Tom Brady, and Sam Darnold looks like a very good quarterback to build your team around.

The smart play by the Dolphins will be to draft one of the top corners in the draft in Georgia Bulldogs standout Deandre Baker.

Baker is the true definition of a shutdown corner, posting 37 tackles, two interceptions, and nine passes broken up. His play has helped the Georgia Bulldogs secondary give up only 175 yards per game through the air.

In the SEC championship game, he had just three tackles in the Bulldogs 35-28 loss.

The Dolphins are in the bottom 12 in pass defense, giving up 258 yards per contest and Baker would quickly become a full-time starter in the defensive backfield.

If Miami opts to pass on Baker they could go with a safety as that is another pressing need.
