Florida State Seminoles. Brian Burns. 24. player. 60. . OLB

Minnesota’s defense hasn’t played up to standards we were used to seeing over the last few seasons, but that doesn’t mean they are lacking talent. Harrison Smith is still one of the best defensive players in the league, and adding Brian Burns to a talented defensive line could have a huge effect on the NFC North.

The Minnesota defense is fifth in the league against the pass, giving up only 221 yards per game. Burns can make a drop back pass turn into a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks and seeing him play a full 16 games could be scary for Stafford, Trubisky and Rodgers.

Florida State has had a down year, finishing 5-7, but that is not due to Burns play, as he has 52 tackles, 10 sacks, and three forced fumbles this season. The Seminoles are tied for 49th in sacks with 28, but when you pair Burns with the talented secondary of Minnesota, the Vikings defense should return to form next season.
