13. . CB. Notre Dame. Julian Love. 26. player

This may seem like a surprise selection, as Los Angeles currently has the seventh-best opposing QB passer rating in the league, but Julian Love has been making plays for the Fighting Irish all season long.

You will rarely find him out of position, and he has the ball skills to pick passes off and take them to the house, evidenced by his two interception returns for touchdowns during the 2017 season.

This season Notre Dame’s defense has been one of the toughest in the nation, easily shutting down opposing quarterbacks week in and week out. He has been one of the biggest reasons Notre Dame’s defense has helped them reach the college football playoff.

Heading into the semifinals Love has 61 tackles, an interception, and 15 passes broken up. It is a wonder offenses are still throwing to him, as he has proven he can take away his half of the field with ease.

If the Chargers don’t go with a corner could they pick a QB? Philip Rivers isn’t getting any younger and this would be the good range to take a flier on a potential successor.
