2019 NFL Mock Draft: Projected first round after the college football season
The L.A. Rams have been one of the darlings of the NFL this season, as their young coach and offensive core have taken the league by storm. With two losses to potential Super Bowl contenders, the Rams could still find themselves earning a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
The defensive line currently boasts Aaron Donald, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and pairing him with a dominant edge rusher could take this defense to new heights in 2019.
Zach Allen has been a force on the Boston College d-line for the last two seasons. After posting a 100 tackle campaign in 2017, he has followed it up with a 61 tackle, six-sack regular season.
The Rams are in the middle of the pack in terms of getting to the quarterback, so picking up Allen would be an excellent move by the front office. If they don’t go with a defensive lineman then look for them to target another wideout on the outside.
