5. player. 48. . CB. LSU Tigers. Greedy Williams

Tampa Bay has a bottom three defense in the league this year. There is talent at each unit of the defense, with a star defensive tackle, a good linebacker core, and playmakers at defensive back.

However, the talent hasn’t turned into results as seemingly every week a quarterback and wide receiver have the best game of the year against the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers can go with a few talented defensive backs with this pick, but I would bet it on being Greedy Williams out of LSU.

He is the most athletically gifted quarterback in the draft and you can’t go wrong by selecting a defensive back with LSU’s track record at the position.

Williams has been a stud for the Tigers defense, helping lead the team to a 9-3 record.

Tampa Bay can also be in line to trade down from this position as a few teams behind them will want to potentially select a franchise quarterback at that position.
