Ohio State Football: Buckeyes don’t need Urban Meyer to stay relevant

1. Jim Harbaugh is still the head coach at Michigan
Jim Harbaugh’s record of futility against archrival Ohio State is well-documented, just check ESPN’s College GameDay. Harbaugh is winless against the Buckeyes in his four seasons in Ann Arbor despite his antics and all the cutting edge advantages that his team might accrue under his watch.
Harbaugh’s tenure at Michigan is shaky, at best. A 38-13 overall mark with zero division titles after four seasons isn’t living up to the enormous expectations that greeted him after his arrival at Michigan.
The Wolverines were expected make the 2018 College Football Playoff after ripping off 10 wins in a row in response to a season-opening loss to Notre Dame. The 62-39 dismantling at the hands of Ohio State, though, was a nightmarish way to end the regular-season for 54-year-old Toledo, Ohio native.
Despite the changing in the guard in Columbus, expect the pressure to remain, if not intensify, on Harbaugh to deliver against his program’s biggest competitor.
