All-Big 12 junior running back Justice Hill has decided to forego the Liberty Bowl, his final chance to play in an OSU uniform, and prepare for the NFL Draft. Sixth-year senior offensive lineman Larry Williams will do the same.

Call it either a sign of the times or accept it as the player’s option to choose at the expense of his team. Regardless, Leonard Fournette-inspired bowl withdrawals mean that bowl games like these can be a great opportunity for fans to see next year’s stars.
For OSU, it’s time for Chuba Hubbard to shine. The rangy freshman running back has played second fiddle to Hill for most of the 2018 season and has amassed nearly 800 yards of total offense, including eight touchdowns.
The Liberty Bowl can give the Alberta, Canada, native a chance to show his stuff against an SEC defense on a national stage.
