Kansas’ season has been over for quite a few weeks now, as they just went through the motions at the end of the season. I’ve made my feelings on the Les Miles hire known, and while I certainly don’t think he’s the guy to “fix” Kansas, I do think six wins next season is a reasonable goal for the Jayhawks. Can they get there? Probably not. But it’d be a huge step forward for a program that really needs that.

Bill Snyder is moving on. The initial candidates list includes Jim Leavitt, Seth Littrell, Chris Klieman, all of whom I think would be excellent in that spot. Kansas State can really turn a corner here and become a true program rather than one defined by one person if they make a good hire here, and I think that they seem to be on the right track.
