The heart and soul behind the Syracuse Orange’s stellar season has been quarterback Eric Dungey. And just like the signal caller on the opposing sideline, this will be Dungey’s final game in his college career. Dungey’s final season was also his best during his time at Syracuse. Not only did Dungey secure his first winning season, he racked up nearly 3,300 yards of total offense and 32 total touchdowns. Dungey was also seen countless times, laying everything he had all on the line to lift his time above the competition.

There are obvious reasons why the Mountaineers are favored to win this game but Dungey wouldn’t want it any other way. Dungey and the Orange have been viewed as underdogs for most of the season and have been called overrated and over-ranked by many, but are ready to silence the haters and prove the doubters wrong. And Dungey will be the fire to Orange’s game, whether they win or lose. With Dungey under center, don’t count the Orange out just yet.
