Urban Meyers retirement speculation did not overshadow Dwayne Haskins performance on the field for the Buckeyes. He showed what he can do in clutch moments all season long, leading the Buckeyes to a 12-1 record, the Big 10 Championship, and a Rose Bowl matchup against Washington.

Haskins was a very efficient passer all season long. He finished the year with 4.580 passing yards, 47 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He completed over 70 percent of his passes had a 17:2 touchdown to interception ratio against opponents in the AP Top 25.

If Haskins returns for his redshirt junior season he should be second in the Heisman race behind Tua, and it would be another fun battle in 2019.
