The reigning Heisman Trophy runner-up is our early favorite to win it all in 2019. Some may feel the Hawaiian Tim Tebow was snubbed this year, but that doesn’t mean Kyler Murray was no slouch.

Leading Alabama’s offense through the air, Tagovailoa was able to account for 37 touchdown passes and only four interceptions in 2018. Yes, his rushing stats weren’t as electric as Kyler Murray, but this season you should expect him to play in a few more fourth quarters with matchups against Auburn on the road and a nonconference schedule that includes Duke to open the season in Atlanta.

If the offense is as good as they were during the 2018 season Tagovailoa should take home the trophy and etch his name in the history books.
