Jeff Monken is a top coaching candidate

In Jeff Monken’s short five years at Army, he has taken a team which had a losing record nearly every year, to being ranked in the AP Poll Top 25 for the first time since 1996. Prior to being hired at West Point, Monken took Georgia Southern to the FCS semifinals three out of his four years.

As more Power 5 school jobs become available this offseason, Monken will become a top candidate. Many teams will be looking to find a way to gain any form of competitive edge within their conference, and often, the Triple Option offense is popular option…get it?

Monken has now taken the school to its first back-to-back 10 win season in school history. In the Armed Forces Bowl against Houston, the Army Black Knights will be looking for their 11th win on the season, which will also be a school record. Additionally, he has won the Army-Navy Game for the third year in a row.

Monken had made history at Army and will be looking to progress in his coaching career this offseason.
