2. Liberty Bowl (Monday, Dec. 31)

The details: The AutoZone Liberty Bowl will be played on Monday, Dec. 31, at 3:45 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Liberty Bowl will be a face-off between 8-4 Missouri which finished the regular season ranked 16th per the S&P+ against the Cowboys who are 6-6 and ranked 28th per Bill C’s metrics.

It’s been a rough year for Oklahoma State as it has endured close losses and haven’t had its usual eight-plus win success. Missouri kept the offense going with Drew Lock behind center, even with Josh Heupel leaving to be head coach at UCF.

Why you should watch: This is going to be a high scoring and fun football game if you like points being scored. I can see over 90 total points being score in this football game. The Tigers have the S&P+’s 15th ranked offense while the Cowboys have the 10th overall scoring machine. Lock, the Tigers’ quarterback, is a potential top-15 selection in the 2019 NFL Draft. He threw for over 3,100 yards with 25 touchdowns on the season.

Taylor Cornelius accounted for over 4,000 total yards for Mike Gundy‘s offense while scoring 38 touchdowns on the season.

There are playmakers outside of quarterback for both squads like OSU running back Justice Hill who ran for 930 yards and nine touchdowns, and Tigers running back Larry Roundtree III who ran for over 1,000 yards and 10 scores on the season.

Fun factor: Like a holiday season gift of skydiving, bungee jumping or a NASCAR experience it’s going to be a fast paced afternoon before the big night of throwing up your dinner.

Prediction: Missouri by 14
