2019 NFL Mock Draft: Kyler Murray headlines first round risers before Bowl season

Washington. Trey Adams. 18. player. 26. . OT

Now this projection is definitely a long-shot, given that Trey Adams is just coming off a double surgery, one for his knee and one for his back. And the fact that Adams, himself, suggested that he intends to return to Washington for a fifth year, makes this even less likely. However, I have a strong feeling that after the Rose Bowl, Adams will change his mind and declare for the draft.

Furthermore, the Baltimore Ravens would be taking a risk by drafting the All-American who clearly has had health issues in the past. But the risk would be worth the reward if Adams can stay healthy. Adams has great run and pass blocking ability, given his ample experience protecting for Jake Browning and blocking for Myles Gaskin. With a dynamic quarterback like Lamar Jackson, as the future of the Ravens, there will need to be an equally capable offensive line to match his athleticism.

When he’s at his best, Adams is as good as they come. Franchise caliber tackles don’t grow on trees, and if Adams is available he won
