Jachai Polite. 19. player. 87. . DL/OLB. Florida

The Carolina Panthers have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the NFL this year. Cam Newton is obviously an incredible talent who knows how to win. Additionally, Christian McCaffrey is only scratching the surface of his potential as a pass catcher out of the backfield. However, the Panthers are lacking in receivers and defensive lineman. Therefore, Carolina could go with somebody like D. K. Metcalf. But, defense wins championships.

Jachai Polite has emerged as the Florida Gator’s top NFL Draft Prospect in 2019. He has 11 tackles for loss this season and is really one of the few reasons to watch Florida’s bowl game against Michigan, should he actually play.

Polite is one of many very good defensive players in this year’s draft. What makes him special is that he can cover very well if asked to drop back. A defense’s ability to give different looks to opposing quarterbacks is essential in winning the schematic battle.
