. WR. Ole Miss. D. K. Metcalf. 21. player. 36

Despite AJ Brown being on the other side of the field and being Jordan Ta’amu’s number one target, D. K. Metcalf is still a first round quality draft pick this year. Metcalf leads the Ole Miss Rebels in yards per reception with 21.9, and is second in touchdowns on the year with five.

Metcalf is a large, but speedy, receiver who has the potential to dominate smaller cornerbacks or safeties attempting to cover him. With his large body, he can play in the slot and be a possession wide receiver. But with his freakish speed and long stride, defensive backs will have to respect his deep threat capabilities.

As for the Seahawks, they have been fortunate that Tyler Lockett has been able to step up in Doug Baldwin’s absence this season. If it were not for Lockett, Russell Wilson would not have many other options in the passing game. As Baldwin ages, Metcalf will fill in the void in Seattle’s receiving corps.
