54. . DT. Auburn. Derrick Brown. 22. player

We continue the overwhelming number of defensive players in the first round with Auburn’s star defensive tackle, Derrick Brown. Auburn’s run defense is among the best in the country and that can be explained by 6-foot-5, 325-pound body that is Brown clogging up the middle.

The defending Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, have a great defensive line. But that line is aging, quickly. In order to remain competitive in the division, they will need to stay solid defensively. Philadelphia has plenty of young talent on the offensive side of the ball: Carson Wentz, Zach Ertz, and the emerging Josh Adams. Additionally, they have shown they are not afraid to add expensive talent in the middle of the season via trades. Last year they traded for Jay Ajayi, and this year they went out and got Golden Tate.

The Eagles have had a disappointing season and will probably miss the playoff. So if they decide to subtly tank for the rest of the season in order to move up in the draft, they may be able to steal away an even better player to improve upon their already talented squad.
