LSU. Devin White. 23. player. 28. . LB

Months ago, we projected that LSU’s star linebacker, Devin White, would end up with the Oakland Raiders. We still believe that these two will find each other and live happily ever after. White is a tough, hard-nosed player who appears to embody everything Coach Jon Gruden is looking for in the leader of his defense.

The Raiders have acquired multiple first round picks and we fully expect them to utilize these picks on defensive players. White has 115 tackles so far on the year in just 12 games. That’s nearly and average of 10 tackles per game. Additionally, he won the 2018 Butkus Award.

The LSU Tigers have exceeded expectations this year, thanks to their defense. And their defensive dominance can be explained by White’s impact on the field. At 6-foot-1 and 240 pounds, White has the prototypical stocky linebacker body who can really bring some force in his hits. The Raiders will be happy with this pick for a long time.
