55. . LB. Michigan. Devin Bush. 25. player

In last year’s NFL draft, the Steelers drafted quarterback, Mason Rudolph out of Oklahoma State, in the third round. Many saw this move as the beginning of the Steelers starting to think about life after Ben Roethlisberger…include Ben himself. Pittsburgh has an abundance of very young talent on the offensive side of the ball. Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster are among the very best wide receivers in the NFL. Additionally, James Connor has demonstrated that he is more than capable of filling in for the Le’Veon Bell departure.

However, the Steelers’ defense continues to be a liability and the primary restraint from them getting back to the Super Bowl. Especially after Ryan Shazier was injured with a devastating spinal injury, the Pittsburgh defense has gotten worse over the past two seasons.

One of the best draftable options to fill in for Shazier in the middle of the defense is Michigan’s Devin Bush. Bush has been instrumental in the Wolverines’ defensive success this season and is absolutely a NFL talent. Pittsburgh needs help on defense, and the middle linebacker position is a good place to start.
