2019 NFL Mock Draft: Kyler Murray headlines first round risers before Bowl season
In the 2018 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills elected to utilize their first draft pick on Wyoming’s Josh Allen. Initially, Allen did not win the starting job out of training camp. But much like Josh Rosen and the Arizona Cardinals, Allen quickly became the de facto future of his club. But unlike the Cardinals, the Bills actually have some talent on both sides of the ball.
Buffalo could use a running back to take over for the aging LeSean McCoy, but it’s extremely unlikely that they will use a Top-10 pick in this year’s NFL Draft on a running back. Additionally, the Bills have Zay Jones at wide receiver, who represents some of the younger talent on offense.
However, a secondary can almost always improve with younger talent. And Greedy Williams, out of LSU, is by far the best cornerback in this draft class. Williams has the potential to be a mix between Richard Sherman and Jalen Ramsey. If he can learn to remain poised while in a pond with a lot of big fish, Williams will have a great career in the NFL.
