1. Khris Bogle, DE

While a quarterback, left tackle or elite wide receiver may be a bigger immediate need, Miami can’t afford to let defensive end Khris Bogle slip out of its hands. Bogle is a four-star blue chip defensive end out of Cardinal Gibbons in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Bogle will be a potential redshirt as he’s still light at 215 pounds but has the frame at 6-foot-4 to become an elite pass rusher in college football.

The Hurricanes also need a recruiting coup against the Alabama Crimson Tide. He’s being recruited by the Tide and former Miami defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski.

Miami lacks the big name firepower that Bama has as they roll Tide into the College Football Playoff and Miami plays in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. However, Miami has produced NFL defensive linemen the past three years at the same rate as any program in the nation.
