3. Trevor Lawrence

When freshman phenom Trevor Lawrence arrived on campus for spring ball, it was only a matter of time before he was spearheading a talented Tigers offense.

Clemson has been one of the best programs in terms of recruiting during Dabo Swinney’s tenure, but signing Lawrence may have the biggest impact on the program since Deshaun Watson.

Lawrence didn’t really get to spread his wings until the last week of September, as he was named the starter and Kelly Bryant transferred out of the program.

Since that game, the Tigers have averaged over 47 points per game and don’t seem to be slowing down. Lawrence was amazing against the Fighting Irish.

He finished the game 27-for-39 with 320 yards through the air and three touchdown strikes. If he is playing at an ‘A’ level, the Tigers will have a good shot at putting up points in the national championship game.
