If you didn’t know who Justyn Ross was before the Cotton Bowl, you definitely know the Clemson true freshman wide receiver now. Ross had two big touchdown catches and finished as the team leader with six receptions and 148 yards.

Ross, one of a handful of freshman to enter the program this year at wide receiver, has carved out a niche over the last few games with classmate and starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence. He recorded over 70-plus yards in three of the final five games of the year and averaged over 15 yards per reception in nine games on the season.

With Tee Higgins, Amari Rodgers and Hunter Renfrow all in the group, Ross will continue to see single-coverage and should be a prime target for Lawrence in the upcoming national title game. He now has eight touchdown catches this year and 40 receptions in all for over 800 yards.
