2. Jerry Jeudy

Well if Tagovailoa is on his game, he has to throw to someone. No receiver on the Tide will garner more attention than the 6-foot-1 sophomore. Jerry Jeudy exploded onto the scene in 2018, posting 63 catches for 1,176 yards and 13 touchdowns. Jeudy was named a Consensus All-American and won the 2018 Fred Biletnikoff award, given to the nation’s top wide receiver.

He was an explosive big-play option for the Crimson Tide all season and should play a major role against the Tigers. Jeudy had four catches for 73 yards and a touchdown against Oklahoma and has scored a touchdown in each of the last three games.

Containing big plays from Jeudy will be a must from the Clemson defense to avoid a shootout on Monday night. If Clemson can bottle up Jeudy, it will still have to deal with Henry Ruggs III (45 catches, 738 yards 11 touchdowns), Jaylen Waddle (43 catches, 823 yards, seven touchdowns), and Devonta Smith (36 catches, 628 yards, six touchdowns). The emergence of a deep and dangerous passing game is what makes Alabama so scary. The Crimson Tide still do everything else well it traditionally does well but now is a complete product.
