1. Bradley Chubb getting drafted No. 5 overall

Bradley Chubb entered NC State as a two-star recruit from Hillgrove High School in 2014. He left as one of the best players in NC State history. Over a four-year career, he racked up 100 tackles, 54.5 tackles for loss, and 25 sacks. He stayed for his senior season to make one of the greatest defensive lines ever for NC State and lead the team to a nine-win season.

He was drafted No. 5 overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft and immediately made an impact in his rookie season, racking up 12 sacks, 41 tackles and two forced fumbles. He projects to make an even bigger impact in 2019, again teamed up with Von Miller and the rest of the Broncos defense.

His drafting gave NC State another prominent alumnus in the NFL and gives the coaching staff a major bullet point to use when talking to recruits. It undoubtedly helped NC State sign three four-star defensive line recruits in the 2019 class, including Savion Jackson, the No. 93 recruit in the nation.
