Alabama Crimson Tide: Most likely to see their dynasty crumble
The Crimson Tide have built a dynasty. There really is no other way to put that. Even though they lost the National Title game in a big way, they are still one of the bigger and scarier programs in the nation. However, could that be changing soon? Could the Tide be starting to fall, to wade back into the waves? I think so and that is putting it mildly.
This loss to Clemson has put some things in perspective for Nick Saban and Co. We can see that he is talking different, acting different. Could the best coach in college football right now be considering retirement? It could be happening and that, in my opinion, is the start of the fall for the Crimson Tide. Yes, they have talented players. Yes, the coaching staff is still intact. Yes, Tua is still the starting quarterback. However, what we saw in the National Championship was just not up to par with what we are used to seeing and that could be a bad sign for the Tide.
This final slide may get me in trouble with some Alabama fans, especially as I am sure many clicked through this slide show just to get to the end and hear how great their team is. I am going to tell you right now, it sure will be funny when Tua watches Jalen Hurts win the Heisman trophy in 2019.
