Missouri Tigers: Most likely to make a splash with their new quarterback

The Tigers won the quarterback lottery and no one will convince me any different. Yes, I know where Jalen Hurts ended up. I know about Tate Martell and Austin Kendall and all those guys. However, this is different. I am a firm believer that Kelly Bryant transferring from Clemson was going to make one team around the nation very, very lucky and now that one team is Missouri.

Drew Lock will be missed in Missouri, don’t get me wrong. He was one of the best things to ever happen to the Missouri Tigers and will in all likelihood do great things in the NFL as a backup quarterback and the very least. However, for the Tigers to get to from one experienced quarterback to another, this time one who took his team to the Playoff, is a big deal y’all.

Missouri will be a force to be reckoned with in 2019 as Kelly Bryant gets his feet under him and learns the new offense run by the likes of Barry Odom and Co. They will make a big-time splash next season and much of it will be due to what Bryant is able to do in a Missouri Tiger uniform. I guess it really is true, once a Tiger always a Tiger. Even if it is at different schools.
