LSU Tigers: Most likely to win the SEC West

Yeah, I said it Alabama fans. You wanna come at me, go right ahead, but what I have seen from the Tigers this season tells me one thing: this is a team that can and will compete for and possibly win the SEC West title. Quarterback Joe Burrow will have one more season of eligibility left and with his final performances of the season, he may have even thrown his hat into the Heisman ring.

Never mind the fact that this LSU defense has over and over shown to just reload and continue to fight at a high level that is unseen in some of the other teams across the conference. Their run game, well that also just continues to reload as player after player graduates or moves on to the next level.

Does Alabama have the ability to win the title once again? Sure, they have Tua coming back and a number of strong players all over the field. However, I am convinced that the National Championship was the start of a downward turn for the Tide. Nick Saban seems to be considering retirement. Jalen Hurts has transferred to Oklahoma. Many underclassmen have declared for the draft in the wake of that.

As it stands right now, I would put more stock into the Tigers winning the West than I would the Tide, but that may be just me.
