3. The November Blow Out vs. Louisville

There is no more exciting regular season game for the Tigers than this one, an absolute dismantling of the Louisville Cardinals. It wasn’t pretty for anyone involved that was wearing red, but man was it a fun day for those in Tiger Orange. Let’s get into the nitty gritty of this one and how it became 77-16 seemingly so quickly.

Trevor Lawrence, the freshman phenom quarterback did play in this game. The injury against Syracuse sidelined him for a few weeks, but he was as good as new for this one. However, his offense worked so well he didn’t have to play the entire game. In fact, we saw three quarterbacks for the Clemson Tigers, Trevor Lawrence, Chase Brice and Derion Kendrick. It was actually Chase Brice who did the majority of the work, finishing with three touchdowns thrown to Trevor Lawrence’s two but in a game like this that surely doesn’t matter a bit.

Perhaps the biggest highlight of this game though was defender Dexter Lawrence getting his turn to push into the end zone for a big man touchdown that is always fun to watch. The video is shown above. It was one of five rushing touchdowns on the night for the Tigers, one from Travis Etienne, one by Lyn-J Dixon, one by Dexter Lawrence and two by Tavien Feaster.

The defense also had another pretty decent night, but when your offense puts up almost 80 points, you could throw the Oklahoma defense on the field and they would still do pretty well.
