Oklahoma. Marquise Brown. 17. player. 53. . WR

The Browns could go a number of different ways with this pick, and after hitting on a number of their picks last year, they’ll be hoping to replicate that success. This was the best Cleveland team in years, and the future is bright after hitting a home run with Baker Mayfield with the No. 1 pick last year.

The Browns will be a popular AFC North pick in 2019, and they’ll spend this offseason just looking to solidify an already talented roster.

They have more pressing needs, but it will be tempting to grab Marquise Brown with this pick to team him with his former teammate Mayfield. Brown is coming off of his second straight 1000 yard season at Oklahoma, and he could give Cleveland a big play threat on the outside that would provide a perfect complement to Jarvis Landry and David Njoku.

Brown can take the top off of defenses, and obviously has a rapport with Mayfield, who will undoubtedly push for this pick if he is on the board when the Browns pick.

Cleveland might also look at shoring up Mayfield’s protection, although the offensive line played much better over the second half of the season once Greg Robinson was inserted into the lineup. Robinson’s emergence might allow them to take a luxury selection instead of a need-based pick, although they could still grab Oklahoma’s Cody Ford or Florida’s Jawaan Taylor with this selection.

The Browns have a young and talented defense, but they ranked 28th in the NFL in run defense, belying the need for some help in the middle. They could look at taking a defensive tackle such as the Clemson duo of Christian Wilkins or Dexter Lawrence.
