52. . OT. Alabama. Jonah Williams. 7. player

I’m not concerned with a recent report that Jonah Williams has received some second-round grades from NFL scouts. If he fell to the second round that would be a massive mistake by NFL teams.

Even after some struggles against Clelin Ferrell in Alabama’s 44-16 loss to Clemson in the National Championship Game, Williams remains the top offensive lineman in this draft class, in my opinion.

Some scouts believe his best spot in the NFL might be at guard, but he has the versatility to play anywhere along the line.

The Jaguars will be looking to identify their QB-of-the-future this offseason, which could see them make a big draft-day trade to grab Dwayne Haskins. If they stand pat, I figure they will at least consider Kyler Murray (or Drew Lock/Daniel Jones) with this pick before deciding to not over-reach for the position.

Regardless of what they do in the draft, I expect Jacksonville to be major players for the available veteran quarterbacks on the market like Nick Foles and Joe Flacco. The Vikings proved that you’re never really just a QB away, but the Jaguars have a talent-laden roster that is probably a QB away from being competitive once again in a now loaded AFC South.

With Haskins off the board, I think the Jaguars will look for upgrades along their offensive line. They tied for the 3rd-worst mark in the league in sacks allowed. They’ll also hope to get back to their identity of a power running team in 2019 after slipping to 26th in the NFL in yards-per-rush.
