All Andy Isabella did during his UMass career, despite consistently playing on losing teams bereft of talent, was produce. He accumulated over 3500 yards and 30 touchdowns over his final three seasons with the Minutemen, including a monster senior season that save him lead the FBS in receiving yards.

Isabella produced 1698 yards and 13 touchdowns this season en route to becoming a Biletnikoff finalist. He produced regardless of the level of competition he faced, most notably torching Georgia in November for 15 catches, 219 yards, and a pair of touchdowns in Athens.

Isabella lacks the ideal size to be an outside option at the next level, but he’s a good enough route runner to make an impact out of the slot in the NFL. He’s got outstanding footwork with great change-of-direction ability that should help as he develops his route running in the NFL.

Isabella doesn’t look all that fast on tape, but it is noteworthy that he is a former high school sprinter; he’s probably faster than most think.

He didn’t consistently play against high-level competition, but he certainly produced when he had the opportunity against power-five programs and talented defensive backs. He’ll have a big opportunity in Mobile this week to go up against future NFL corners and show that he can make plays at the next level.

Isabella won’t threaten the first round, and he may not even go on day two, but he could be an intriguing potential steal on day three of the draft that helps himself a lot with a big showing at the Senior Bowl.
