The Lions could certainly use all the depth at wide receiver as possible. Athlete Mark-Antony Richards can provide it if he makes the commitment to Penn State.

Richards is another prospect out of the state of Florida. From West Palm Beach, the six-foot-one four star prospect played his prep career at Wellington High School. If the Lions land multiple prospects out of Florida, the state may start to become a pipeline for Penn State.

Richards is a versatile athlete and can make an impact at both running back and wide receiver. With the early departure of Miles Sanders to the NFL Draft, Penn State is left with two freshmen runners on the roster in Ricky Slade and Journey Brown. The Lions added two more running backs on early Signing Day back in December. With more departures at the wide receiver spots, it is likely Richards will play wide receiver in Happy Valley.

There are several big name schools looking to add Richards. Miami, Florida, Auburn and Georgia are on Richards’ short list. It would be a big time signing if the Lions can add him to their wide receiver depth chart.
