Miami Football: Top 5 Targets for 2019 National Signing Day
1. Khris Bogle, Weak-Side Defensive End
247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 71 Nationally, No. 3 Weak-side Defensive End, No. 10 Recruit in Florida
As it stands, Khris Bogle is committed to Alabama as of January 5 of this year. Despite his recent commitment, 247Sports crystal ball still has the defensive end from Fort Lauderdale, Florida heading off to South Beach for the foreseeable future.
Alabama currently has one of the greatest recruiting classes, on paper, ever assembled and that is a two-edged sword. Although Alabama defensive lineman are drafted every year, they have five commits for the 2019 class and that could be intimidating to incoming recruits that are looking to play for more than one season. Miami still stands a chance of flipping his commitment in the final weeks, but his recent commitment doesn’t do much to convince us that he will.
As a player, Bogle is a machine of a pass rusher with 13.5 in his junior season. On top of having a quick first step, he’s a very hard-hitter and looks like he could decapitate a quarterback when he really lays the boom. He has huge hands and a great stature of 6-foot-4. He’s only 212 pounds but he’s sure to beef up when he finds the weight room at the next level.
