. DE. Florida State. Brian Burns. 26. player. 46

Despite all of Florida State’s struggles on all sides of the ball over the past two seasons, Brian Burns has done nothing but produce. He recorded 13.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in 2017, bumping those numbers up to 15.5 and 10 this past year for the Seminoles.

Burns, who is 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds, will have some questions that need answering, but at this stage of the first round, the Colts would be getting a steal in terms of potential and athletic ability. Burns finished his three-year career at Florida State with 23 sacks, 38.5 tackles for loss and 123 stops in all. He also defended seven passes and recovered two fumbles.

Indianapolis won 10 games and reached the quarterfinals under first year head coach Frank Reich. They were 16th in the NFL against the pass and eighth against the rush in terms of yards allowed this season.

Burns could be paired up with Denico Autry, who had a team-high nine sacks last year while rotating around the line, along with Jabaal Sheard and Darius Leonard.
