TE. Iowa. Noah Fant. 32. player. 47.

The health of Rob Gronkowski remains a question mark, along with just how much longer his body can take the beating generated by an NFL season. For Tom Brady to continue shining at his age, he needs solid, reliable targets.

Iowa’s Noah Fant wasn’t even a regular starter this past year, but he shined when given the opportunity in the offense. The 6-foot-5, 241-pounder had 39 receptions for 518 yards with seven touchdowns.

As a sophomore in 2017, Fan had 30 receptions for 494 yards and 11 touchdowns. His Hawkeye career ended with 19 touchdowns scored on 78 receptions for just under 1,110 yards.

With Fant, the Patriots have a perfect replacement for Gronkowski and a compliment for him in the offense at the same time.
