3. Isaiah Foskey, DE

Of all the Irish recruits who have yet to commit, defensive end Isaiah Foskey is by far the most likely to actually sign with the Irish. After losing out on Asa Turner late in the recruiting process, Foskey remains the last up in the air candidate in terms of his official commitment.

Foskey has only logged two official visits over the course of his recruitment process, heading to Penn State in April before making the visit to Notre Dame late in September. Foskey’s Notre Dame visit would be one of great timing as it occurred during the weekend of the Irish’s 38-17 trouncing of long-time rival Stanford.

While Foskey’s decision has likely already been made, he has maintained his commitment to reveal his decision surrounded by family and friends on February 6th. This decision doesn’t boast the same amount of drama as Turner’s, but the lack of an official commitment typically warrants at least some caution.

All things considered, Foskey’s four-star status deserves a certain level of attention, regardless of where his commitment stands.
