2. Jammie Robinson

Though Tennessee is making a final push, it’s likely Jammie Robinson will announce his commitment to South Carolina on National Signing Day.

According to Gamecock Central, Robinson has a strong relationship with Muschamp and South Carolina defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson which gives the Gamecocks an important advantage over their competition.

Though listed as a safety, the 5-11, 200-pound Robinson can also play corner. Following a season full of injuries to its secondary, South Carolina could use more depth at the safety position in 2019. For an injury riddled secondary that finished 65th in passing yards allowed per game, securing a commitment from Robinson would provide a significant win for Muschamp and his defense.

It doesn’t hurt that Robinson is an explosive athlete, either.

In addition to playing safety and corner, Robinson has proven himself to be a dynamic return specialist having returned five kicks for touchdowns in his high school career – three kickoff returns and two punt returns. Robinson has also shown flashes on the offensive side of the ball having scored 40 touchdowns while playing wide receiver and running back.

The Georgia 6A Defensive Player of the Year and Georgia 6A All-State Team member will announce his decision at 2:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
